# Vibreshark **Current Version:** 0.28.1 ## Overview Vibreshark is ReVibe Energy's desktop application for high-precision vibration data acquisition, visualization, and analysis. It connects to ANURA wireless vibration sensors—either directly over your computer's built-in Bluetooth, or via a TR11-USB transceiver for time-synchronized measurements across up to 8 sensors at once. Vibreshark is used for Factory/Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT), diagnostics, machine commissioning, mechanical design validation, and maintenance rounds. ### App ::::{grid} 2 :gutter: 3 :::{grid-item-card} Vibreshark :img-top: images/vibreshark-icon.png :img-alt: Vibreshark application icon, a dark shark silhouette inside a teal concentric-ring "signal" motif. Vibreshark Basic - Part Number: 70010\ Vibreshark Advanced - subscription license ::: :::: ## Supported Platforms Vibreshark runs on Windows. ## Connecting to Sensors - **Direct Bluetooth** - connects to a single sensor using the computer's built-in Bluetooth hardware. The maximum number of simultaneously connected sensors depends on the computer's Bluetooth hardware. - **TR11-USB Transceiver** - connects to up to 8 sensors at once, with time synchronization to within <5 μs between sensors. ## Editions :::{list-table} :header-rows: 1 * - Edition - Licensing - Sensors * - Vibreshark Basic - Free (included with sensor purchase) - 1 sensor connected via Bluetooth or TR11-USB. * - Vibreshark Advanced - Subscription license (€1,575/year) - Up to 8 sensors connected via Bluetooth or TR11-USB. Time-synchronized measurement requires TR11-USB. ::: A license key is required to use Vibreshark, including the free Basic tier—see [revibeenergy.com/vibreshark](https://revibeenergy.com/vibreshark/) to request one. ```{note} For a detailed side-by-side comparison of specific features (waveform/orbit dimensions, aggregated values, export formats) between Vibreshark Basic, Vibreshark Advanced, and ANURA Connect, see the [ANURA Connect](anura-connect.md) page. ``` ## Views & Features - **Timeline** - every connected sensor gets its own lane of snippets, for quick playback and navigation - **Waveform** - acceleration, velocity, or displacement signals, with clipped portions shown in a muted color - **FFT** - frequency spectrum, with auto-ranging on the Y axis - **Orbit** - displacement, velocity, or acceleration "orbits," with a plane selector (XY, YZ, XZ) and an optional idealized ellipse overlay (adds stroke length and stroke angle to the Property Table) - **Property Table** - structured, sortable table of calculated values (RMS, peak acceleration, stroke measurements, and more) across multiple sensors, supporting copy/paste and row/column transpose - **Reports** - color-coded by sensor for easy visual correlation ## Export Recordings can be exported as `.vibe` session files (which can also be opened directly in ANURA Connect-recorded sessions) or as CSV. A dedicated export dialog lets you select data from multiple sensors and export it in one go. ## Firmware Updates Sensor firmware can be updated from `Help` → `Update Sensors`. This requires a computer with Bluetooth and cannot be done while a measurement session is in progress. ## What's New in 0.28.1 - **Open files from the command line** - Vibreshark can be started directly with a `.vibe` file, for automating signal file processing workflows - **`.vibe` file association** - double-click a `.vibe` file to open it directly in Vibreshark - **OS trust store for license checks** - license checks now work for users behind an HTTP proxy, such as in a corporate environment - **Log files** - for easier troubleshooting ## Related Documentation - [ANURA Connect](anura-connect.md) - Mobile companion app for single-sensor field diagnostics - [TR11-USB Transceiver](../sensor-bridges/tr11-usb.md) - USB transceiver for multi-sensor, time-synchronized measurements - [VS10-C Vibration Sensor](../vibration-sensors/vs10-c.md) - [VS1 Vibration Sensor](../vibration-sensors/vs1.md)
