# ANURA Transceiver API

The ANURA Transceiver API provides an interface for communicating with ANURA transceivers. The API is implemented on top of *CBOR-RPC* a generic remote procedure protocol  (Concise Binary Object Representation - Remote Procedure Call) for efficient and reliable communication.

Transceivers act as bridges between AVSS sensor nodes and client applications, managing Bluetooth Low Energy connections and proxying AVSS communications.
